I know I have not been around, been very busy.

Im getting married in a week!!

I have known Drew for 7 years and over a year ago we started dating and things have been amazing since then. The only draw back is that he is a Marine. Learning to deal with it but its not always easy. Pictures from the wedding will be up once I get back into town. He leaves for training a week after we get married and for Afgan in July. Sucks but I really think that things will work out. :D

Wow, that is good news! Congrats!!! When my wife and I got married, we had to cut our honeymoon short so I could deploy. THEN, she deployed a week before I got back to a different place and we kept passing each other for the first couple years. It was all worth it in the end though! She's headed back over in a few days, but at least I'm done and can be with the kids. Anyway, what I'm trying to get to with this rambling is that it will bring you closer and make you more appreciative of each other!!!

Thanks! I cant wait to be married to him... can wait for the him leaving to afgan part though.

Congrats and good luck! My husband is Coast Guard, so while I understand a lot of what you'll be going through, at least I (generally) don't have to worry about him going overseas. Best wishes for you both, and a safe return for him.
