Gotta control myself

Wheaton, Illinois. A suburb 40 miles west of Chicago,

Thank you!

Is it sponsored by a local herp society ?
What's at the show ?

Here in Maine it is very hard to get anywhere near that kind of interest going in Herps to have a twice monthly expo. We have a twice yearly. One 45 miles south and one 110 miles north of us.

(sorry if you already posted this info somewhere )

It's called Scott Smith's all animal expo. They have snakes(many different kinds), lizards, tortoises, many other reptiles and miscellaneous animals. Tons of supplies, and feeders. One guy who sells the supplies has half of the back of the building. He has everything you could possibly want(supplies wise). Unbelievable prices, he's a friend from high school too.

Control isn't a problem for me. I don't have any. I started keeping snakes again in spring of '13, after taking 30 years off. Including the babies I produced, I almost hit 100 this summer. I have around 65 "keepers" now, but luckily most are too young to breed. Once everyone grows up, I'll have to be selective about who I put together. It's not out of hand yet, but the potential is there. I am actually diversifying my collection, moving away from corns a bit. My latest acquisitions are Blue Baron's Racers and Black Milk Snakes.
