Granite Female - For Bekers...

She shed Becky, and does she ever look scrumptious. Makes me wish I had room for one of her siblings aside from the snow.

Here she is again, right out of the egg:

And post shed:

She darkened up a bit it, and she's actually a darker brown in color than black. Don't know how well it shows in the pictures though. She's got her papa's great diffusion along the sides though, and I've got my fingers crossed that she will be stunning as an adult.

Oh, and I popped her again, post shed, and confirmed that she is indeed female. =)

Thanks for the comments and compliments everyone! This little girl is one of the best out of that clutch - though one of her granite brothers, the fire, and the avalanche are not far behind. If I'd been able to make the room, this one would have been a keeper, but we have too many as it is so she will have to go.

Not sure if I'm going to use her with him or not. I have another male that is anery mot het blood. So who knows. But if I ever do get tired of her you will be the first to know.

Glad she meets your approval Becky... =) I thought she might, and she's got such a great attitude too. That whole clutch will be getting their first meal tomorrow night, so I'll let you know how she feeds.

I've got all my fingers and my toes crossed that the entire clutch eats. I'm hoping that they'll be as good of eaters as their half siblings from River's clutch.

Thanks Jay! I was really surprised when she turned out to have better diffusion than both of her granite brothers. I always though males tended to have better patterning, but I guess she proved me wrong. lol
