1. Discover axanthic gene.

2. Spend three to six years proving axanthic inheritance.

3. Breed axanthic snakes to green-blotch snow.

4. Select holdback normal het anery amel axanthic hatchlings to raise for three years until old enough to breed to each other.

5. Hope to beat the odds and produce that 64:1 shot green-blotched axanthic hatchling, assuming that the axanthic outcrossing hasn't already destroyed the selectively bred green-blotched snow lines.

Do you see any yellow in Ashy/cinder/Z morphs? I have no doubt that they are at least hypoxanthic and may be full axanthic. Rich has recently told me he has never seen any yellow at all in their background colors. And I see no yellow at all in the hypos he produced or the amels Carol produced. If these aren't at least hypoxanthics they sure fooled me with all that LACKING of yellow pigment. :)

Any project worth doing always takes time...and this one is no differant.
