Guten abend! I worked in Germany for a little while when I was fresh out of university, I had a wonderful time! I took a boat trip down the Rhine that I really should do again.

Where did you worked in Germany?
 
Around Koln, Essen, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf, from memory. (Travelling sales!) I didn't make much money but had a great time. I only had a phrasebook to help but found people very patient with my attempts to speak german and really friendly! I aquired my taste for Beck's then and it's never left me!

I started studying in "Beck's town" Bremen. But I changed the field of study and with it the city.
 
Ich studiere seit 2006 Deutsch. Deutsch als Fremdsprache ist mein Studienfach an der Universität. Ich war auch übrigens einmal Austauschstudent in Deutschland. Kennst du Friedrich-Schiller Uni in Jena?

Hey, die Uni an sich kenne ich nicht. Aber Jena ist eine schöne kleine Stadt. Wie lange warst du denn hier in Deutschland? Und wo studierst du jetzt?
Dein Studium scheint echt gut zu sein, dein Deutsch ist wirklich perfekt :)
 
Lustig und interessant, wie viele Amerikaner hier schon in Deutschland waren oder ein wenig deutsch sprechen :D

Funny and interesting, how much Americans from the forum already were in germany or at least speak a little bit :D
