Hi i just joined the forum, I am an owner of a
Bearded dragon and a motly corn snake. the dragon
Lizard is 6 years old and the corn only 1 year old.

I have a question, what is the age at which
A snake is able to safely start breeding ? And can you keep
A female and male corn snake together in a terrarium or
Not ? Because you can't with a bearded dragon.

I am constant breeder of bearded dragons. I have been breeding
Them since the age of 12 but now I thought I'll try something else
If there is anything I should know about breeding snakes, it would be great if
Someone could give me some advice etc

Thanks koallaa

Welcome! Nice to hear you have some experience, care, and commitment going on.
I would highly recommended doing "A Lot" of research on breeding. It's good you came here! Snakes and lizards are two different breeding experiences. Never co-hab snakes.

Thank you mate, I have been breeding bearded
Dragons for years and now I want to start breeding
Corn snakes, however I will not start doing that until my
Corns reach age of at least 3 years, meanwhile I will reasearch
And learn about breeding snakes.

I have a question that I don't seen to find an answer to on
The web, my corn has black dots on his belly going from the
Tail upwards and I asked the vet about it and he said its nothing
To worry about all snakes have it, however he failed to identify the
Black dots and doesn't know exactly what they are. If someone has
Some knowledge of it I would be greatfull

Hello and welcome to the forum! A picture would be very helpful. Normal corns have belly checkers, but if yours is a motley, it shouldn't have any.

This is the black dots on his belly, tell me if the pic is unclear ill try to get a better photo,

Yes but it's not very clear. I had a motley once that had kind of the same thing. Never found out what it was tho and don't know what causes it.

Nope. At first I thought they were mites but it wasn't. It's weird how Motley corns seem to have that. Don't know what it is.
