Anyone else planning on trying to brave this weather this weekend and head to the Hamburg show?

I plan on going and attempting to NOT bring home any critters... so hopefully I can accomplish it. Just want to go browse and pickup supplies.

I really wanted to make this one..especially since BHB reptiles is going to be there and I have been wanting to meet them for the longest..but I have work tomorrow and with me and my fiance being behind on bills..I just can't afford to call off work..so unfortunately I can't go..but I will be hopefully going to the white plains NY one in November..either that or the Hamburg one in December :)

Yep! I will be there, early. I will be with my good friend Tom of "Eight Legs Plus" stop by and say hello and check out the table. Tom produced some killer snakes this year!

im going! its gonna be like a 5 hour drive, but my bf and i are getting up wiked early to be there!! and i really hope my camera doesnt die tomorrow :( i cant find my charger anywhere! I cant waait!!

We went to the show. Weren't all that impressed. Was too close quarters there and we had my daughter with me which made me even more uptight. Definately had TONS of great prices. Was a buyers show. Each table we visited was pushing their animals on us with crazy discounts! Left with a new 20G, more aspen and 2 thermometers. Not so bad, but for the drive, i dont think i'll do it again.

Grrr...I am soooo mad I missed this show!!! I missed it cause I had work...I go to work..and they tell me 10 minutes after I clock in that they don't need me for the day..but I still have to do my ghost act later that night so I can't even leave..so later that night..we're all getting ready for fright fest..and then it turns out we were only out in the park for like 2 hours...god yesterday was such a waste..I should have just gone to the show... :(

Prices were great!! I picked up a Hypo Lavender Stripe Male, and two Hypo Lavender motley (Het. Stripe) females ( 09's) and paid $175 for the Trio. ( all 3 have eaten F/T pinks for me today).
Also I picked up a Male Blizzard for only $10.00 I just couldn't pass em up even though its a male and I have no current use for him. He also jumped right on a F/T pink tonight.
After they digest I will post a pic of the Hypo Lav Stripe... he is a killer.

i thought the show was cool- yes very cramped and parking was a bit of an issue but other then that it was pretty cool. There were so many ppl there!!

I got 2 corns, a bloodred and a stripe (either bloodred or normal I think...) Both were 20$ and my bf got a red. dal. crestie for 65$. I would deff go next year, tho instead of taking the 5 hour drive thru NYC, I'll take the 6-9 hour scenic route to without wasting 22$ total in tolls :angry01:

OMG $22 on tolls? Thats nuts! My trip cost me $0.75 to cross from NJ into Easton via-78.

I wish i was able to get a snake while i was there. I saw some gorgeous ones (babies and larger) and was amazed at the pricing. Unfortunately, I had strict instructions from my mom that i was not to bring home any more pets lol. I wanted a bearded dragon too, they are just so cute!!
