Hand feeding experience

well i wish i had pics because it was just awesome though accidental. i had the peach fuzzy in my right hand and Blaze was wrapped around the wrist of my left hand. i was trying to coax Blaze into his feeding box when he caught sight of the fuzzy and just went for it! then he proceeded to constrict the fuzzy and my left wrist...thankfully he isnt that strong or that big but man he is getting strong. i just put my hand down on the bottom of the box and lay still until he finished off the fuzzy. and finally he let my wrist go.
next time though, i have to remember put the fuzzy in the box first and THEN the snake...not one of each in each hand...though it's pretty cool to handfeed a snake. not cool to feed your snake your hand however.

I love it when a snake eats from my hand. That's about as good as it gets  I've started a routine where I put my snakes head in front of their water bowl after feeding, and it's awesome to see them gulping like there's no tomorrow!
Here's CC chowing down! :wavey:

I had pumpkin in my pocket once (it was a sweatshirt with a big pocket that goes all the way across the front). I placed her hopper in her feeding tank, and before I could pull her out of my pocket to place down there, she sensed the mouse and tagged it, from about a foot above, hanging out of my pocket the entire time. She proceeded to swollow it up just like an emerald tree boa. It was hilarious.

I feed little Worm in my hands once. That's not normal practice, and I will never do it again, but I wanted to see if he would, just for curiousity's sake. He sat in my hand, and I held out a fuzzy, which he gently took from my fingers and swolled. Feeding that little guy is like spoon feeding a baby. He's so mellow about it.

*all mice were f/t btw. Not that that changes anything...I just dont' like the visual of me holding a live fuzzy and placing it into my snakes mouth! LOL.
