LOL - I wish I had my old set of Lincoln Logs - I'd build hides with those like crazy! Some of my snakes are hiding in contemporary Lego houses. I've built lots of popsicle stick hides since I saw this thread. I bought bags of smooth river-rocks at the dollar store, and hot-glue them to the roof and some on the sides to add weight. I've also started using those black rectangular containers that ground beef comes in. I wash them out really well, cut out a door, and hot-glue silk vines and rocks around the outside. The snakes LOVE them - especially the extremely nocturnal subocs - because those are so very dark inside.
