I have a skiddish yearling that I just got a week ago from petco, they are not aloud to handle the snakes so you can understand how she is behaving, but in one week, she went from jumping every chance she got to exploring just by me taking her out and ignoring her to a degree, just making sure she did not wander into a light socket or anything like that. For example I took her out, put her on my sholder then went and made breakfast, she wraped herself around my rist and watched what I was doing and exploring were she could go from there.
Another thing, I also found that she calms down when I put her in her moving bag, [I have two good friends that both have snakes and we get together one of our snakes and compare or play(what ever)] but then once she's in her moving bag i just pet her and let her get a feel of a touch and so, she even seems to enjoy it at times....
Remeber, to always do the big activities after all the food has past and not too soon before feeding, at least thats what I do, Im still very new to this, so I maybe wrong, but thats what Im seeing work with Arien, my snow corn.
