well...
The way I do it is. I won't handle the first several days after feeding. That's an easy one. And I don't make a point of handling my babies. I know for at least the first six months or so my babies are left alone to eat and grow in peace. They might get handled when cleaned, but I feel that grabbing them makes them jump and thrash sometimes, so I'd rather just gently bump them from their container into the holding container to clean their cage. Then back again without ever actually being picked up. I just feel being babies I want them to work on growing and getting well established. Though yes, most baby corns once started feeding tend to be hardy little souls that do seem to handle being handled a lot. I just feel they are enduring a bit of stress to do so and better wasting calories on growing up.
My yearlings and adults on the other hand... Many of them aren't messed with but once a week when it's cleaning time. But there are those times I'm like, hey photo shoot time. Or, I just get the urge to pull something out and look at it. Sometimes when I open a cage they are curious too and slide forward to see what's going on. Very few of my adults are touchy about being handled. In fact only one comes to mind, my male Okeetee, Dennis. He's a bit defensive.
