Harvest Corn! (and a Lavender too)

Time to show off my new babies! This little guy is a Harvest corn, which is a Sunglow x Creamsicle cross. I was very lucky to get one this year--God bless all the slackers who sign up on waiting lists and then pull out at the last minute! Pardon the blurry pics, my digicam isn't the most expensive one around.

There's a pic of what Harvests are supposed to look like when they're grown in the third post of this thread. I wasn't banking on him turning out *that* nice, but he's so brightly colored right now, he just might pull it off! I'll post more pictures as he grows.

Here's my other 2004 hatchling, a ZigZag Lavender. I'm hoping he'll turn out nice and pink (though I can see why they were originally called mochas!) You can't tell in the picture, but he already has iridescent pinkish spots on his little cheeks. My favorite parts of his pattern are the checkerboards about 2/3 of the way down his body, and the squiggle on his neck that looks like a Tetris block. Please note that the second photo isn't mine; it was sent to me by the breeder.

Both babies are from ExoticsByNature.

Ohhh. Mine looks exactly like yours. I never knew the exact name. Can someone verfy that? The picture doesn't really show the patern though. I can upload some better ones tomorrow if nessasary

You have two lovely snakes there. I might breed harvest corns next year, if I can get hold of a female Sunglow.

I knew I recognized that pattern on the zigzag lav. I was eyeing a pair from EBN a couple months ago and I could tell by the pattern it had to be related to the ones I saw. The harvest corns are very beautiful and I can see why you wanted one. Good luck with those.

That would be cool. I love this morph already, and I think they have great potential to be stunning animals. Good luck with your breeding!
