Has anyone ever seen blood

on a shed?

One of my corns shed and I took the shed out of her viv, and I noticed right on the part that covered her cloaca, there is 2 dots of dry blood.

Is that normal?

I vaguely recall a thread about this once before. As I remember, it is happens regularly on some snakes.

I haven't seen it but I have heard that it happens and you don't need to worry about it. Out of curiosity, was it a male or female?

I was told she was a female who I have suspicions. I have seen this antenna like thing come out of her, and she was my only female who went on a hunger strike....

Here it is...

Seems like I may have seen this on our big male amel's sheds before, and didn't think anything of it. He's healthy as a horse, as far as I know!

I've noticed that on my male corn but not so much on my female, maybe she is a he? But either way it is nothing to worry about it is a normal shed.

I've noticed it here and there, even on young snakes, but I haven't seen any pattern to it. Nothing to worry about. :)

I've seen it here and there on my (male) Corn's sheds before, too. I've also heard of it before, but it seems to happen with males more commonly than females.
