Hi, i got my amel snake called psycho on saturday and when i put him into his viv he was really pissed and so i just left him. I went to get him out on Sunday and he would not let me pick him up as he is fast he just shoots off round his tank, he comes out about nine and has a nosy around his viv. Would it be best if i just left him for a couple of days or should i just keep trying to handle him. He is feeding ok as i fed him for the first time on Saturday afternoon and he took the food great, it was really good watching him feed, i just hope he will let me handle him.

Any advice is apreciated.

I'd leave him for 4 days to a week to give him time to settle in without being disturbed.
