I have 16 hatchlings that just shed today for their first time. This is my first clutch of corns (well, snakes in general), so I was wondering how some of you go about feeding them for the first time...live or ft, off of tongs or just drop in the pink and leave it alone, do you leave it in overnight if it doesn't eat it right away...etc..
I decided to just drop in a live pink and leave them alone. Two of them ate almost immediately. It has been two hours now and none of the rest of them have taken theirs yet.
I am by no means worried at all, but am just curious about the techniques you use right off the bat, even before you deem a snake a problem feeder.
