heat ing of hatchlings in small tubs??

just wondering how people heat hatchlings in smaller tubs/rubs?? obviously with multiple tubs/rubs it makes it a nightmare for space on heat mats so how do you guys heat them??

thanks :)

All my hatchlings go into shoe boxes in a rack with heat tape under the back three inches. Each rack holds about 80 shoe boxes.

I have seen a simple set up for just a few hatchling in an aquarium. there was a regulated heat source under the aquarium and a platform inside about three inches high with all the small containers stacked on top. A partial cover helped hold the heat in. Make sure air holes are in the "side" of the containers. This works best at normal room temperature. A small fan might help keep the temp uniform throughout.

My shoe boxes are now on heat cable running under the
"notch" on the bottom of the sterilites.
I used to use tape until one strip shorted out and
fried a row of my snakes. cable works for me..

Heat cable or tape works for multiple small containers. Just use a thermostat and be very careful not to overheat things. It's easy to do with small containers, and there's not much space for the babies to avoid the heat. The idea Dick Deuel mentioned also works well.
