i was just wondering if a heatlamp bulb can be used on any lamp and still prduce heat ?? ..... anyone know cause my heatlamp busted ....... thank you

I believe that you can but Im not fully sure... I would think that it depends on the lights watts... look on your heat lamp and see how many watts it puts out then go to your other round the house lamps and see if they are somewhat similar... if so then the light will give off the same amount of heat as your heat lamp... if you go to Walmart you can get night worker lights in the hardware section (these are the same as heatlamps sold in pet stores but they are about 10$ cheaper) hope I helped...

?

Are you asking if you can use the actual heat BULB in another normal lamp fixture? Answer: No. Most likely it will melt and burn the fixture possibly cause fire.

If you are asking if you can use other bulbs for heat, then yes. :)
