Heat Lamps

I Want More Snakes
Hi.
I Have been Wondering, I have 2 heat mats in my Viv and the hot side is about 80 - 85 and the cool side is about 70 - 75. But should i put a heat lamp in anywhere?
At night time I turned on a MoonLight Light. which he seems to love, (plus I can see him at night:D)
So does anyone Recommend that I put in a Red Heat Lamp aswell or instead off ? Or will that make the Viv get to hot as my temps are perfect at the moment ?
Help would be grateful ?

Sam

Are you asking whether the addition of another heat source will raise your temps above the perfect range you're already achieving? If so, then the answer is: yes. Cornsnakes aren't baskers, and heat lamps really dry out an enclosure. I don't recommend it.

No Sorry, what im asking is. should I use the Heat Lamp instead of the Heat Mats. ? or should i stick with the heat mats ?

Sam

Alright, thanks for the help. I will stick with the mats as I have now.
Thanks again.
Sam..

I am actually going to switch over to UTH's because my heat lamp isnt keeping the warm side over 78 degrees.
