I love the way this thread started out.
Does that snake act like that with your hand too?

Thanks. He's actually a bit worse with my hand. He only held on to the hook for about ten minutes. He holds on to my hand for anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. When I got him they told me he had bitten and held on to someone for about two hours before they managed to pry him off.:sidestep:
Alcohol has little effect on this snake...

He's so funny. Are you sure he isn't just really, really hungry? Seems like hunger biting to me. What's his feeding interval??

Every 7 days. I've been giving him double hoppers cause I don't think he could take an adult mouse, but I could try.
He's basically like this 24/7. Feeding day, the day before, the day after, two days after, three days after. He did the same thing to a metal hook once, which is why I started using this padded one. Wouldn't want the little guy to himself now would I...?:dgrin:

I'd try a five day schedule. I had that problem with Zee, the tri-color hognose. He'd just start chewing on me no matter what, which made me nervous with a hoggy! I increased the number of prey items and shortened his feeding interval and he's never chewed on me again.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that. It just so happens that today is feeding day, so I'll try to get a few pics of everyone eating.
