Heating Pad, Fire Hazard?

So I followed your guys' advice, and placed the probe just at the top of the substrate under the warm hide, and the temperature has maintained 80-85 on that area. I also cut off the heating lamp. However, the ambient temperature in the cage on the warm end is now 75-78. Is this okay?
