Hey i just picked up my first ever corn yesterday and i must say shes beautiful.
I got all the tank set up to give 1/3 of the tank is under the heatmat, now since i turned it on yesterday the stat/mat hasnt turned off, the tank aint getting to hots its seems to be running at 84.2 in the hot end and 78 in the cold end is that okay, and is the mat safe to be running all the time.

Where is the mat located, where is the thermometer located and where is the thermostat probe located?

Those temperatures look fine - as long as they stay steady that way.

Yes, it's quite normal for the mat to be running most of the time - as long as it's correctly connected to a working thermostat you shouldn't have any problems.

I used a didgi thermometer to check the temps i also have a cheap temp monitor on the cool side for a quick check on temp, stat is set to 88, the probe is dropped down into the corner of the tank almost touching the floor on the Hot side.

The thermostat probe should be on the floor as close to the mat as your snake can get to it - otherwise, it all sounds great :)
