Hedgehogs?

Crazy Tarantula Lady
Any one here have a hedgehog? I just got one yesterday, cute little bugger:) I'm looking for a good forum too.

I would love to have wild hedgies LOL. They are so funny to watch walk with their little skinny legs. Ever take pictures?

No...I should do though......They can be scarey at night...The noise they make when they are eating snails...The first time I heard it, I thought we had a warewolf in the garden...LOL

Pictures!

I used to keep Indian longeared hedgehogs and an African pygmy hedgehog rescue boy. They were lovely, but a lot of work!

A werehedgie HAHA, that brings all sorts of weird images to my mind. Do they vocalise alot or is it just the snails crunching?

Mine is a pygmy, I'll get pictures in a bit when I wake her up.

They sort of growl and squeal at the same time, that and the crunching of the snails and their claws on the walls scratching the snails off....Very unnerving in the dark.:eek1:..LOL

She is absolutely beautiful ... I love the combination of dark eyes and pale fur.

The Indian long ears make a sound that can only be described as an unearthly quack (imagine being haunted by a duck) when they're annoyed, but I never heard much vocalisation from the African.
