Glad your getting a corn!

Greetings Jane,

Welcome to the forum. My wife and I too purchased a snake for our daughter (13) and now we have two, err, snakes not daughters. ;) We've had snakes for about 8 months now. As far as pets go, they're very easy to maintain but you have to have an old enough child who can be responsible for them, otherwise the task will fall on you. How old is your daughter?

Jason

Hi Jason,

my daughter is also 13, what i've done tho just to make sure a snake is what she wants, i've arranged with the local reptile shop that she goes in for 2 hours a week to help cleaning out, feeding and handleing them, and i must admit she's enjoying every minute of it, ( just hope she does'nt want anything bigger like a phython, don't think i could cope with that) :) :)
