• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Hello everyone.

I've just registered after lurking for some time. I find that rather than just join a forum willy-nilly, it's best to lurk for a while to make sure it's an informative, friendly place to be, and learn the appropriate netiquette. One of the downfalls of merely lurking here though is that there is no search button if not registered - trust me I was glad to register and discover it, I was worried I'd have to start a "Where on Earth is the infamous search button?" thread.

Anyway, now I'm here I'll introduce myself. I've had my snow corn, Ripley, since April '04, and kept a false map turtle for the past 8 years. I've always loved reptiles, and am really excited to learn all I can. My last landlord was a zoologist specialising in herpetology, and his massive book collection really helped when I got Ripley. Unfortunately, I'm at a stage in life where I don't have the financial stability for a large collection, but at least it gives me something to work towards!

I look forward to posting and learning more,
Hannah

Note to everyone: This is proof that there's no second chance to make a first impression.

I was worried I'd have to start a "Where on Earth is the infamous search button?" thread.
And I'd have replied, "use the search button". ;)

Welcome to the forums, Hannah. For the benefit of this website, would it be possible for you to clone yourself? :)

:flames: Ha Ha Jazz - very funny!!

Welcome Hannah -

I agree with Jazz, you need to be cloned!! Theres one up for the UK!!! :crazy02: - we look forward to seeing pics of your beauty!

It's a wonderful hobby and you've found the very best place to learn. Lurking is a great way to watch and see what everyone else does. But don't be like me, too shy to chime in most of the time.

Again, welcome :D

Thank you everyone for being so welcoming.

Cloning? Nah, clone me and you'd be left with a vicious army of slobbish couch potatoes - yikes! :sidestep:

I'm off now to figure out how this posting photos thing works - wish me luck.

Hannah
