Hello Everyone! I'm new to this forum and well snakes in general. I got my Anerythristic corn a little over a week ago. After days and days of searching for the right name, I decided to name him/her (stupid me I didn't get it sexed) Orion. I have been keeping an eye on the site for some time now and finally decided to make contact with everyone.

For a little background about myself....

I have always had a love for every animal and just graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology/Pre-vet. I have always been a mammal lover, but this past 9 months or so I have developed a love for reptiles... especially corn snakes. I was first introduced to a corn snake when the "zoology club" at my college adopted one (Esteban). Thank goodness, we had people very knowledge in the subject. So with the help of my friends and a lot of research I finally thought I was ready to get my own. I am still a little timid when it comes to little Orion (he the smallest little thing I have every seen) but I hope I can provided him a good home.

Here are some pictures of Orion (I've noticed that everyone seems to enjoy pictures!....as do I:p).

Curled up in his log...

Going back into his cave, that he never comes out of....

He's beautiful!! Welcome to this forum. You're really going to love it here. These snake geeks are awesome!

Silly little factoid, but I love your snake's name. Orion is my favorite constellation, and I actually paid to have a star named after an old boyfriend within the belt. :p

Anyway, you have a lovely snake. Enjoy yourself here! :wavey:

Thank you! And I am also a geek at heart. I mean I did join the biology/zoology club in college!

And I also like the constellation, but I actually remembered the name from Men In Black.... lol, "The galaxy is on Orion's belt".... I know dorky right?

Again Thank you for the welcome!

Thank you. I live in Columbiana County, which is around the PA, West Virgina and Ohio border (what people like to call the tri-state area). And I got Orion from the reptile show in Cleveland.

Where in Ohio do you live?

And you forget Trent I already graduated! No more studying for me.....
scratch that.... I forgot about those 2 classes! :headbang:

Don't forget me in Biology Club!
