Hello from Northern Virginia

Chris Flanary

The Boss
Hi everyone my names Chris and I got my first corn at the end of January of this year. It's a '08 male albino corn snake. I named his Maximus after the guy from the movie Gladiator just because that's the movie my girlfriend and I were watching when I got him in the mail :) Since then he's been an awesome snake. He hasn't had a problem feeding, shedding, or handling. He just shed the other night and I gave it to my little brother, who's in the 2nd grade, because he thinks snakes are the coolest thing and wants to use it for a project. Well, I'm happy to join this forum and hope to meet more people with the enthusiasm for corn snakes that I have. Thanks

P.S. I'll post some pics whenever I get a better camera because the camera on my phone by no means justifies the beauty of this little guy. They're WAY to blurry and show no detail. Sorry but I'll let everyone know when I have pics.

Got a friend on Lindendale, right at Dale Blvd.
We must keep in touch.
There's a Mid-Atlantic Corn Snake Club forum if you scroll down the main page to the user forums.

yeah I live on the Lindendale and Dale side also :) yeah ive looked in the Midwest forum already; thanks for telling me about it though because it's definitely useful. i havent been to any of the shows in the area yet but i heard theres one coming up or maybe it just passed. regardless i plan on going to the next one if i can find the time to. i want to add another corn snake to my collection so that will give me the opportunity to hopefully see some high quality snakes

Definitely go to a show, but there are people on here with high quality snakes. Some of the best. You'll see, don't be too hasty to buy without checking them out.

Oh, and I meant to say that my friend Sharon will be breeding snakes this year, also.

How's that? Too late, hunh?

im thinking bout gettin a blizzard or a striped opal or something. hmmm i wonder if theres a striped snow around that would be awesome

I'll have ice's, anerys, and het plasma motleys this year. I have an opal for sale right now, but she might be called for already lol...
