Hi my names Alex. i live in st. louis missouri. just was searching bout corn snakes on google last night and saw you guys and registered. I currently have a female snow corn. she is about 2 ft. long. looking to get a reverse oaktee soon.
 
Welcome! I am relatively new here & relatively new to snakes. But I spend way too much of my "spare" time here. :)

Happy to have you aboard! Welcome from OR. I have a snow corn as well probably not as large as yours tho. I'm fairly new to, and like most I spend a lot of time on here. Beware, Corns are addicting!!! lol but so much fun :D
 
thanks all for the welcomes. The racing part is that i race oval dirt track race cars and also race 4 wheelers. ive had my snow for about 2 months now. She is actually a butter/snow corn. has yellow below her. ill attach some photos of her. Yeah i already see the addiction i want a reverse okeetee now. (i noticed that it is spelt okeetee now and not oaktee. Now i know why i couldnt find any results on google.

oh yeah i forgot to say that my mom hates the snake. lol. and she tells me to feed her every day. she said its not right to starve the thing. not sure of a good reply to that to get her to shut up bout it. (i bought the snake without telling her.) I really never liked snakes but at the local pet store one of the girls there got me to hold this 1 and i fell in love and bought it for $100.

Now i want a reverse okeetee because the way it looks but im not sure since she is about 2 years old and 2-3 ft long, im not sure if i can buy a baby or if ill need to get one the same size exc. i want to start breeding as the local pet store doesnt get corn snake morphs in so he would buy them from me.
 
You know reverse okeetee and butter snow breeding would only give normals and amels right?

How much does your female weigh? A female shouldn't be bred until she is 3 years, 3 feet and 300 grams minimum.

If you do breed for this shop I would get a contract, as in put down on paper, stating they will take all the snakes you bring in each time you bring them. And for how much, or you might:

A: endup with a lot of snakes
B: have them try to change up the price each time
C: both.

Other than that, enjoy your snake :)
 
Sorry for double post, I forgot to say, tel your mom you will kill the snake if you feed it everyday. Their stomachs are MADE to eat once a week. Every 2 weeks when it gets bigger.
 
Welcome to the forum. I race cirlce track asphalt sprint cars and Super modifieds. They're faster than sprints. But, I'd love to race dirt stuff, just don't have a ride running dirt. Lol

Ill sell you one of my dirt modified chassis for 350 dollars. front suspension is already on :) haha. (or trades) hah. would love to see the shipping bill on that thing.

carnivorouszoo, thanks for the reply. I will talk to them. I could also sell via craigslist and forums and what not as well. Yeah she will learn as i progress with more snakes. (oh how she will love me then). and it is an albino snow. not sure if that makes a difference in the breeding. Im gonna have a few other snakes soon to work with and I will do some research as to what will turn out. Also need to find somewhere that sells incubators.
 
brave you are.. lol. i got the chance to drive a sprint once just hot lap it. scariest 5 laps of my life but i missed the track record by .5 seconds so i guess im not that bad at driving them. just too costly.
 
Lol, I love it. I don't think I'd drive anything else besides a Sprint or Super if I had the choice. Obviously I'd drive other things if I was offered. Lol

Im jealous. 1 reason is cuz u have the money to do that. The other is, that car is sexy. ive never seen em race before. attached one of my old modified. Flipped it 3 times on turn 3&4 at the local track. bent the frame. miss the thing. now i got a chassis sitting in my garage and ran out of money to put it together since i got laid off from my job. so no race season this year for me. just gonna play on my yamaha banshee out at the sand dunes.

Lol, Thanks. Well, I don't have the money to do it. I drive for people.. So, if I don't perform well enough I'll lose my ride. That sucks you flipped it, and its for sure a damn expensive sport/hobby.

Oh, if you want to watch some videos, search MSA Supermodifieds or ISMA Supermodifieds on youtube. I race both series. There are also non-winged ones as well, but I only race that car like twice a year for the big 200 lap race in New York.

I would say if I didn't get into Sprints and Supers.. Modifieds is what I'd want to be doing, definitely the next coolest on my list. Lol
 
yes its deffinately an awesome hobby. very costly. trying to sell my modified to get enough money for some snakes and enough money to build a cabinet type thing to put the baby corns. should be fun. im thinking on converting my closet into all snake stuff.

0.1 amel motley het caramel
1.0 amel het motley caramel
2.1 ultramel het caramel motley
1.3 normals het blood anery
0.1 bloodred female het anery pH Hypo amel
for like 200 bucks or so. i might buy them. But im still looking out for a 2-3 year old male RO and possibly a female RO.

Then i want some butter motley stripes. not sure what to breed my female snow with though.

Nice.. Make sure the person is reputable.

As far as your snow, I'm not sure how much you've researched it.. But, snow's are Amel and Anery.. So if you want to produce more snows.. I'd suggest getting another Snow, or an Amel het Anery, or an Anery het Amel. They you could produce Anery's Amel's and Snow's all in one clutch.
 
yeah well if i get that batch of 10 they are still young but u really cant beat the price. so id have to get older RO's and such. I just want to many Haha.
