Hi everyone, i'm a new snake owner and also new to the forum. Due to the fact that I have not only misplaced my mem. card, but also have a dead battery in my camera, I don't have any pictures. I got my snake, Hector, about a month and a half agao as a hatchling from Petco. After I bought him I read many bad things about petco animals, especially snakes, however he has been doing great. He has never refused to eat, except when I tried to feed him every 5 days instead of 7. Right now he's about 18 inches long and is dark red, black, tan, and yellow in color. I think he's really cool and a good pet, however, my friends tend to disagree haha.


I am from a small town in Maryland, and am a senior in high school. I used to go to boarding school where the only pet I was allowed to have was a fish, but a few infractions of the rules landed me back home & to my local public school. I am a huge football fan (Washington Redskins), but I currently don't do any sports.

I have two Petco snakes one is four years old and oe is a yearling, both great snakes. have fun with your new baby, susang
