alright so i was browsing craigslist and found an add of an unwanted corn snake. he wanted to sell me with the 65 gallon tank it was in...(wow) but i asked how much he wanted for just the snake and for pics. he isn't sure of what the gender is (and i don't know how to tell them apart) but here is a picture of (IT). i'd like to know what morph it is to see if it is male if it will be compatible with my snow. (i know that sounds weird)

I don't think it's carmel or ztec. I have the Corn Snake Morph guide and from that pic the closest thing it looks like is an Ultramel (short for Ultra/Amel) if it has red eyes. Which if you breed with your snow I think you would get you amels and or normals (someone wiser than me will tell you for sure) but that's not a bad thing, it's a start.

As for finding out the gender, you really need someone who can sex it by probing to know for sure. The tail shape and length of males are slightly different from females, but not always an accurate way to judge gender, not even the most knowledgeable breeders guess gender correct by tail shape.

But for $35 I would totally get it :D I love craigslist! if it's a female, you'll just have to get a male to go with her too :D let us know what you decide.
 
It is difficult to properly identify the morph of that snake from that photo. It looks like it MIGHT be an amel with sunglow &/or caramel heritage or perhaps a hypo.

Helpful hint: There are plenty of good programs to use to resize your photos so they can be put here as attachments as well as to make adjustments to photos (light and color) so they are closer to real life.
