I was thinking of Bleach, or Clorox, since he is white, almost "bleached out". I did vote for Yukon, though. If you want to go with a northern name, pull up a map of Alaska, the Yukon or Northwest Territories. There are lots of good ideas. What about Klondike, Denali or McKinley?

Hehe this is one of my typical Libra indecisive moments at its best. Feel free to poll yours as well. I still have my new Okeetee to name as well. She should be a lot easier to name though with all her wonderful colors. I have been working on compiling a list of names for her and will post it once I think of a few more. I kind of wanted to name her something native american but I haven't come up with anything that isn't overused and fits her.

LOL that is what i did ... I scanned a map of the north. I would have considered Klondike if my dog's boxer friend wasn't named that.

Oh, geez, not you, too?

As for Native American names, you can go with Koyana. It means hello and good-bye in one of the Athabascan languages. If you want plains Indian words and names, look at the tribes' names. I have an Emoryi named Kiowa.

LOL yep I'm a crazy Libra. Just be glad we aren't talking about food.

"Are you hungry?"
"Yeah."
"What do you want to eat?"
"Food."
"What kind of food?"
"Preferably the edible kind."
"I thought you said you wanted to eat out."
"I do."
"Where?"
"I don't know."
"Well what are you in the mood for?"
"Food." (and then the conversation repeats itself)

LOL sometimes I need someone to make up my own mind.

Thanks everyone for helping me out on this and giving your suggestions. It appears we have a tie between Yukon and Zen. With that being the case... it looks like he gets a middle name too. His name will be "Yukon Zen":dancer:

Thanks again everyone!

Missed my chance. I would have voted for Yukon Jack. A liqueur from the land up north. Also would make sense with his mellow personality.

I like that one!

It's funny that you put the two names Yukon Zen together. I did that with an anery stripe. I thought it was a female, so I named "her" Lolita (after the Japanese Lolita fashion style). It turned out that she was a he, so added Mana. Mana is the name of a famous rock star in Japan who dresses in the Lolita style and "Mana" has become synonymous with men dressing like Victorian little girls in the music industry. It's a whole subculture. It's weird, but there it is. Now my anery stripe is Lolita Mana.
