I'm in ohio, In canton, I'm near a medium patch of trees, You can't go back far because of a medium stream.. SO is there anywhere else i could go?
I heard going to Heartville and going to the country side and go to a side road?

well if theres a stream there i would be searching near it. flipping logs and rocks. but always leave the land as you came upon it. maybe put some of your own wood down. make habitat for them to come and live under. i have done that before to see if snakes would come and have had good success.

Ok, there's a stream out behind the house... But some of the water is sewer so I dunno.... Anyways We just cut down 51 Pines we didn't need... So we have TONS of wood... I'll make something and see.

Hartville isn't really all that much country anymore. We always have garters out here on our land(E Canton). I'm assuming it's because of the large amount of water on our land. Um, I know there's lots of back country roads out here that you can pull off of and head into the woods. For instance, there's a road right by us that has an old abandoned train bridge. You can pull off the side of the road and walk up there and it's completely wooded. We haven't spent much time up there but I bet it would have a ton of snakes.
