Ok i got my snake yesterday the 18 i think. The snake was fed the 10. Should i get food for the snake or shouldn't i? Please give me a anser for i am confuzed. The man said to wait a week but that seemes like a long time for a snake not to eat but hey it might just be me. :wavey: Thanks guys

Actually, depending on the size of the snake, they can be fed every 7-10 days. Because snakes are cold blooded, they do not waste as much energy on warming up there bodies (like we do) and therefore do not need to eat as much.

Oh oops I didn't see that you said that the last time it was fed was the 10th. I would feed it now, better to be safe than sorry.

The general rule of thumb is to leave your new snake completely alone for three days (other than non-intrusive spot cleans or water changes). Then offer food after it has had time to settle in a bit.

Good luck!

We keep our babies and yearlings on a 5 day feeding schedule and our adults on a 7 day. This is the method most of the people on here use. It works for us and we hope this helps.
