Help! What color Corn do I have?

I just purchased this beautiful corn that is rich brown with silvery grey highlights... Does anyone know what he will grow up to be??

After looking thru the Love's book, the closest I can come to is Charcoal...

Thanks!!

It's REALLY hard to tell. It could be a charcoal, but it could also be an anery too. Without being too nosy, how much did you pay for it? Generally, if you paid more for it, it is more likely to have the more popular (in this case, charcoal) trait.

BTW, we raise arabians too. Gotta love 'em!

:D

I just got it from Petco for $29.95.... They had a whole assortment and had no clue at all what any of them were. I read yesterday a post here where a guy bought a Snow Motley from a pet store like that and they had no clue what they were selling him... I thought this one was pretty and different so figured I would take a chance...

He really has silvery shine to him... can't see it that well in the picture!

If I had to guess, I'd say an anery A. Do you have a headshot? Sometimes looking at the head can help you decide.

Thanks Iris... Here is a picture of the head... my digital doesn't get very good close ups... I'm plan on getting a new one here soon...

I thought Anery A was black... not brown... I have a female Anery A that is black & grey

Doesn't look like any of Rich's Anery A's

I just went to look at Rich's Anery A's and he doesn't look like any of them... wow... it is so hard to tell sometimes when they are so little!! :(

I have a pair of siblings one a charcoal one and anery a that no one but me can tell apart

That's a tough one to just guess at. Being from a place like PetCo (And knowing a friend that works there that allows me to see the master list they order from) I'd have to say it was an anery. PetCo isnt exactly know for getting corns like Charcoals in stock. Still I suppose it could be a charcoal also.

And maybe I'm going out on a limb here but do I see a hint of dark caramelish yellow there?

Looks very anery to me but they change so much from hatcling to adult. However, the colour and the price suggest anery.

Thanks for everyones help

Well at least I have an idea of what it might be....

I'll post a picture after he has shed 2 or 3 times... maybe it will be easier to tell then!

I would say Anery A because of the price also, Iris posted before that her Anery A was turning a little brownish so that could also be playing a factor. Only time will tell!!
