Help with Temp Gradient and Thermostats - ASAP!!

We justed finished our multi-unit enclosure, and I'm ready to put my babies in, but I can't get the temperatures to even out. I have a Zilla 1000 watt thermostat regulating 8 of the enclosures which each have 12" of 4" Flexwatt. I have the thermostat set where I want it 85-87 F, but each enclosure has different temp readings. Anywhere from 1-5 degrees difference up and down. I am so frustrated because I have been waiting to put my babies in since I got them and I just want this to be done. Can anyone help me?

There's no way to make sure you get exactly the same temperature in every enclosure, unless you're using a separate thermostat and separate flexwatt/mats for every enclosure. And even then, it wouldn't be the same, especially on a multi-unit enclosure. Everything closer to the floor is going to be cooler, and towards the top is going to be a bit warmer. Are you measuring the separate enclosures with a temp gun?
