ok i have a 12 week old butter corn... she was eating fine no prob until the beginning of this month when she regurged her 2 small pinks....left her for 10 days and she took the next one ok...
however the next feed she refused, will now not drink unless she is placed in a warm bath, is seemingly 'limp' from middle down, no reaction ie no coiling around anything, or reaction of any kind if u touch her lower half and her body weight has dropped from 14g to 8g in this time... she is moving around and tongue flicking still but she refused again today.. a brained pink.
her temps are all ok and no routine or variable has been changed in any way...
anyone help????

Ours is doing the exact same thing. Dont know whats wrong with him. =/
He's really getting skinny. Starting to get worried. Really limp and everything just like yours. Hope you find some answers though. If so tell me. lol.

I'm sorry can't think of rememdies, but if you look at the stickies on Health...there are things about regurg. Maybe do a search on this forum.

I would try to entice her to eat by flavoring the pinky with chicken or tuna broth or lizard scent. The fact she is acting limp is scary. You may have to resort to force feeding soon.

The thing about force fedding is a snake on the edge will usually die from the stress of force fedding. Jaxsom had an excellent thread about how to feed the unwiling, I will try to find it. So did Jen 'shedn' my skin'.

my little one passed away earlier tonight..
vet said she only had a small chance of survival the other day. a genetic form of parastisis...was nothing anyone could do xx RIP
