He's here! My first albino BP!

Finally finished up the trade~ got my very first Albino BP! And he's sort of a corn snake topic~ as I traded just about every baby corn I hatched this year for him! But he's worth it~ check out the great contrast! Most albino's start to fade out some as adults~ so this being a 4-5 year old I was expecting his contrast to be poor~ but look at him! His contrast is great!

I'm so excited!

Congrats on the new guy! He is a beautiful animal.. I'm sure he's going to make some BP girls very, very happy. :D

How long is he? I don't know~ I don't measure them by length~ a bit over 3 foot I imagine. He is 1050 grams. Thanks for the compliment on the photography~ take 200 pics and your bound to get lucky and have one or two worth keeping! LOL!

Zach~ I've got more normal females than he can breed already! I've actually just been looking at my males and females and considering my plan for this year. I was going to sell a few more subadult females~ but maybe I'll hold them back after all. I think he'll have at least 6 normal females this year~ and thats still with leaving plenty for the pastel and the het pied males to share. Now exactly how I"m going to pull off this ambitious breeding plan is going to be the challenge~ what with my planning to move next summer! (can't you just see me trying to show the house full of snakes to potential buyers? How about moving across country with incubators full of eggs?) Could be quite the chaotic year for me! But I'd like to put him to work making hets for me as soon as possible so I can put my unrelated het male to work on THOSE making me some albino's (you watch me produce albino's before I ever get those stupid het pieds to work!).
