Hey everyone I am new to the site and snakes in general. I brought home my first snake yesterday! A 5 month old male albino corn snake. Named him Hercules, taking a philosophy summer course for college so it fit haha

i my self is new to this site but the knowledge iv received in a few days is priceless i stumbled across it after my motley laid just 3 eggs was scared she had some stuck but was false alarm she had the other 25 the day after lol i hope you find as much knowledge and advice as i did and do welcome

28 eggs! I can't even imagine that lol. Like I said, new to snakes, so the whole snake laying eggs thing is a weird concept to me, I never really thought about it. Being a Biology Major I thought I would of known but they haven't really touched on snakes yet! I guess its not the fact the snakes lay eggs that is interesting, but the fact they lay so many and that there so large!

to be totally honest im no breeder lol we got told we had 3 boys then found her laying eggs just glad iv found homes for them when they hatch as already have 8 adult corns

lol note to self do not put male and female together! I do not need unexpected babies haha... I bet finding 28 homes was a fun challenge!

actually it wasn't that bad as 60 days ago she laid 33 eggs but only 18 hatched and we had to find good homes for them to lol like i said we were told they were all boys !! by a vet when she laid her first clutch foolishly i left her in viv till i could buy a new one for her hence a further 28 eggs appearing in the new viv

Amazes me that snakes have that many eggs at one time. Seems like a lot of work to manage all those snakes for sure! Bless your sole for finding good homes for all of them.
