Welcome to the site!!!!!!!! There are a lot of great people here. Everybody is always willing to help.
Be sure to read the FAQ section in the forums. They answer a lot of questions. There is a search feature that answers many questions.

If you are going to find out if your snake is male or female, please go to somebody with experience in probing or popping. If you try to do either, you could hurt the snake.

your local reptile shop should do it for you. my local offers it as a free service!
UH WELL WE DONT REALLY HAVE A LOCAL REPTILE SHOP THE ONLY STORE THAT SELLS REPTILES AROUND HERE IS PETSMART & PETCO..LOL

if you're planning to breed or cohabbing (which i don't recommend) you should take it to a vet to have it sexed- otherwise, just find a name that could suit both sexes! It's really not a huge issue whether pet snakes are make or female.

also, would you mind making sure your capslock isn't on when you post?
No one likes to be e-yelled at.

Ok, I'll bite, because I was once a newbie myself...

Kimberly, if you read up about corn snakes, you'll see that all reptiles are generally solitary creatures that do not require companionship, like humans or dogs...reptiles really only hook up to mate, not to chum around or anything. So, it would actually be a very bad idea to put them together because 2 males will fight & one will probably kill the other...1 male & 1 female will mate, and if they're too young, then problems will arise...and 2 females may do well together, but why tempt Fate?

I'd really suggest reading the FAQs, getting one of Kathy Love's corn snake manuals or Don Soderbergh's manual on corn snakes in captivity, and reading up on this wild animal that you now have in your care...with privilege comes responsibility, so please do what's right by the animal.

Good luck! :)
