Hi Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GoNe CraZy!!!
Will be getting my first corn snake in a few hours. It is a little thing. They say it its pinkies already. Will post a pic later on.Would like to know your thoughts on Substrate and heat or antthing else you have to offer

I wanted to get a corn a year a go but the wife and the kids wanted a bearded dragon so we ended up with a hydro red something other. But they dont spend time with it!!! :sidestep: So I traded it in early today. The pet store made out on the trade because it was $150 just as baby :twoguns: .Now as adult it is worth almost $400.But they are going to keep it as a store pet because its colors are so great. So at least I know it will get took care of as well as I did.So I do have reptile knowledge. We also have a snapping turtle, two dogs, two cats and her two stinkyyy ferrets.

Hi and welcome to the forum! :wavey:

Congrats on getting your new lil snake!

To answer your questions, aspen is the substrate choice of a majority on here, and your snake needs a heat range of 72-79 on the "cool" side and 80-87 on the "warm" side.

If you have other questions concerning your new snake, ask them on here or you can read many of the stickies at the beginning of all sections or do a forum search for specific questions.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I just want to ad that you need a hide on the warm and cool side. I have a 4 month old in a 10 gallon with 4 different hides.

Congratulations on your new snake. Pictures please! :)
