hi i have a question can you help?

tanya1012

I feel like i run a zoo!!
hi i know i would most likely find the answer in an faq but its nice to chat !! i was wondering how often corn snakes shed mine is about 3 months old now and has only shed once since ive had him , how often do they shed as young ones?

Well, it depends on how fast they're growing. Most hatchlings I've owned have shed about once per month. As the snake matures, the time between sheds gets longer and longer. As adults, they may only shed four times a year, or so.

ok thanks for your answer i think tango may be coming up for a shed he did it about a month ago now and he looks a little cloudy around the eyes , am i best not taking him out for a bit?

That's up to you. Some say that they're feistier in shed phase, but most of mine aren't like that. If you want to handle him, go for it. :)
