Hello.
I'm from England.
I got my first corn snake last week.
It's a long story, but i got him at only 1 week old, having not eaten or shed.
He shed on tuesday at 11 days old.
I offered him a pinky that night, but he didn't want to know.
I offered another last night, left him with it overnight, but he hasn't eaten it this morning. Will try again in about 3 days.
Have done heaps of research but hopefully will be able to ask you all for advice as needed.

Welcome, Gunner. There are lots of peopel here to help if you need it:). Congrats and good luck with your new little one.

When i try to feed next do you think it is too early to try braining(of which i obviously have no experience)? Or should i just offer another f/t pinky. He is 2 weeks old today.
Also, how long do you leave at room temp for it to defrost thoroughly? I worry that it could still be cold in the middle.

well when i defrost mine i just put them in a cup of warm water, for a pinkie that will only take about 5 mins. has she shed yet? because it can be hard to get them to eat before they shed. you could try braining it, it doesn't really take much experience to do.
