Hiding a lot normal?

Ive had my first corn for a week now. And it doesnt seem to ever come out except when I take it out. Is it normal for corns to just chill in their hides all the time?

I got mine a while back and it spent its first week or two never showing itself, then after a while it began to come out and have a wander around, occasionally just observing what was going on in my room. I guess it just takes a bit of time, but im sure as it becomes accustomed to everything yours will be a bit more sociable. :)

Don't worry, it's very normal for corns to hide a lot. Firstly, it's their first week so they may be still getting accustomed to it's new home, after a while it will probably start coming out more and searching for ways to escape!
secondly, each corn is different, some are out all the time, and some do stay hidden a lot, and thirdly Corns are naturally nocturnal, so the best chances of seeing it are in the evening and late night hours, I swear I hear mine burrowing when I sometimes get up in the middle of the night!
