I just recently got a anerythristic corn and its a good 15 inches or so and i have a hide spot in the tank but thats where he always seems to be..is that normal or ok..its very nice to handle and very active when i am playing with it or letting it crawl around..another thing is there any way to tell how old it is..thanks
 
You can expect your snake to not be visible about 90% of the time - hiding is natural.

Also, if you have a thermal gradient in your viv, you may want to splurge on another hide, so as to have one each on the "warm" and "cool" side. This way, the snake doesn't have to sacrifice the security of a hide for the thermoregulation it needs for things like digestion.

As for age, if you bought it from a breeder, they'll more than likely know the hatch date. If it's from a pet store, no such luck.
