Thanks Sue. I love anywhere hot, except I forgot to pack my favourite old hat, and couldn't find another one I liked as much. It's faded green denim and I can just wet it to cool my head!

Now, I'm the opposite and can't deal with too much heat anymore, maybe it's hormones ;) Shame you forgot your favourite hat though, but you look like you had a great time :D

I know Formentera has a known naturist beach, but Spain on the whole has a relaxed attitude to nudity. There were some topless sunbathers around on the beach, but no-one really takes much notice, as long as it's not some exhibitionist flashing their bits and bobs!

Pete says it's my pikey genes! He insists the generations of fruit-picking and fieldwork (I'm part Romany) have resulted in natural sunscreen. In my family, the 50 or so first cousins are about evenly divided between fair and dark skin.
I can't say I'd want to go back to Ibiza again, unless we stayed in a less built-up area or hired a car and ventured further.
As for the clubbing, I'm glad I've done it there now, but after years of clubbing in London and going out with my posse of gay male friends in Brighton, the sexist 'meatmarket' vibe was not pleasant to deal with:twoguns:.
 
Nice set of pics, looks like a good holiday. I like the weaponry, the big 24 pounders are impressive, but I really like the side view of the field cannon for some reason.

I like historical sites, especially castles and forts. I love how they are constructed, reading or watching documentaries about campaigns and sieges, artillery, engineering and weaponry. Probably because my big brother made it all so exciting when we were young, and I was a bit of a tomboy!
