Holding after feeding

Why are you not supposed to hold a snake right after feeding? And how long do you have to wait?

I'm not trying to be mean, but these questions don't belong in this sub-forum. They should go in the sub-forum called Health and Feeding Issues. This one is for topics about your snake's food. Like rats and mice. How to raise them, kill them, or freeze them.

Sorry, I didn't know where to put it. My bad.

But why can't you hold them after feeding?

It stresses them out and can cause a regurgitation hor excessive hours at a time after eating. So its just easier to wait the at least 24 hours. perferably 48 hours

Think of it this way. Have you ever gone to a fair or amusment park, and eaten a huge chili dog and then gone on a really wild ride. That's the same way your corn would feel if you picked him up after he ate and started to play with him. Chances are he would get sick and puke.
