Holy pewter!

Grand Bubble Burster
So this pewter male from Stephen came earlier in the week and he was a lot darker than the pic Stephen gave me. I figured, well, he's still light and is really good lookin....

So I'm sitting here and decide to take some more pictures, and well, he just shed. And let me say, dayyummm.

Dayyummm. That guy really embodies the trade name. That metallic look is awesome. I may have to contact Stephen in '06. Great pick-up, Joe.

Very Nice!

All these great Pewter photo's being posted is making is SO HARD to wait until Spring to get one!!! :crazy02:

That is truly one of the nicest animals I have ever seen!

Is this a line that Stephen has been working with himself or something that he aquired from someone else.
Stephens stuff always seems to have that special little touch of color everyone likes!

 *note to self* get with Stephen about pewters...

ooooooooh, now I like that pewter too. Very soft and silvery, and that is cool that she doesn't really have any saddles - just little circles running down her back. She is definately going to be a stunning example of a pewter!

Wow. Very graphite/gunmetal looking.

Hmmmm....makes me think of adding some stripe lineage in there for future ideas...and eventually end up with a solid looking snake.

:grin01:

He's looking good Joe! Ok now send me your camera so I can do mine! lol I don't know what it is about that line, but they have such a brilliant metallic sheen to their colors.

Very nice..looks almost purple on my screen. I haven't seen so many that are so dark. What are your breeding plans for that one?

Actually I think that it's fairly light for a pewter. The plan is to bred him to a normal in 2007, unless I can get my hands on a charcoal female next year that will be breedable, and eventually to my hypo bloodred female to produce some hypo pewters.
