Home for my new snake question

I just recieved my female yesterday. I took her container put it in her new viv and just left her alone she has been moving around it but has decided to take a place in the far corner of a fake plant. I haven't disturbed her in anyway and will wait a couple more days before trying to feed her. Maybe its the stress of the trip since the lady who delivered her yesterday was flailing the box around like she was juggling for the circus.

I told her hey they're is a snake in there pls be careful. anyway hoping this is normal behavior i really want to make sure im doing the right thing I mean it seems natural for the snake to hide
 
Cornsnakes spend most of their time hidden during daylight hours, whether they're stressed or not. This is completely normal, so don't worry.
 
thought so, but im a newb i have done alot of research but its not the same till u actually have the snake there in person. I find my self gawking at the cage constantly. Measuring the temp and checking her out from a fair distance for now thanks for the reply

I know what you mean. I felt very prepared up until the point when I ordered her and then I started panicking. Now I have to force myself to not bother her or look at her too much. :) She's so cool... I just could stare for hours!
