I am planning to purchase 3 cornsnakes, one albino and 2 color hybrids...i was wondering if they can be housed together and if so, what size tank would be appropriate for them?
Thanks for any input

Well...

it is not a very good idea to house three snakes together. You cant tell if they are having conflicts, and this causes irritation. Another thing is after about a year they might start to TRY and breed, but the female woukd not be developed yet, the eggs would get stuck in her, and she would die. If you decide you want to try and keep them together anyway, make sure they all are the same size because then canniballism plays into the picture. It is recommended that for one corn should be a 20 gallon tank. That will last it at least 3.5 years. Hope this Helps!!!

If you use the search option on the top of every page in this forum, you will find an abundance of advice on this subject. If your hybrids will be corn x king crosses, I would even more strongly advise you keep them separate. Good Luck! :)

I don't personally think you should house your 3 snakes together things like cannabalism and premature breeding could happen and the female could die if they try to breed to early and then cannabalism is always bad so I wouldnt but if you want to have fun.

People do, and have kept snakes together in the past, but IMHO it is not worth the risk. These will be your new additions to the family, and you would feel awful if something happened to them. I recommend keeping your snakes separately.
