How big will she get?

HAUZEY

This is a very general question and I've heard some answers before but I wanted to hear from the experts here. I have a female albino oakatee who is about 20 inches now. I have her in a 10 gal. tank and am planning to go all out and get either a 55 or a 75 gal. tank when she's ready for it. How big do you think she'll get and does the size of the tank have any effect on this? I'd like her to reach her full growth potential. Thanks.

It's impossible to tell how big your reverse Okeetee will get. A corn's size is not limited by its viv size. Genetics and feeding play the biggest role in adult corn size. But a 30 gallon long tank is more than enough room for even a record-book specimen.

A friend of mine has a 10 y/o corn that is over 5 ft. long, and about 2 inches in diameter. Spot is a beautiful, spoiled amel and lives either in a 30 g. or 40 g. glass viv. It pretty much takes up the entire top of our second desk, and is best carried by 2...
