How do I judge the age of my snake?

I have a large, healthy, female anerythristic, Matilda. I know she is 3 feet 7 inches long. I got her as an adult. Can you accurately judge a snake's age by its size? If so, how?

Size is not an accurate method for determining age. Like people, snakes vary in size due to genetics and nutrition.

I don't think there's any way to tell if you got her as an adult. A 3' 7" corn could be any age...some don't grow larger than that, ever. Was she the same size when you got her?

Well, I've had her for a year, and when I got her, she was only three feet long. Does that clear up anything?

I think she is probably fairly young. I wouldn't expect an older snake grow very much. This is just speculation on my part, since I have not had any corns long enough, but I guess she is somewhere around 3-4 years old?
